Syla Capital brings together deep experience across investment, innovation, and geopolitics—bridging global capital with high-performance teams operating at the edge. Headquartered in London, we work across Europe, the U.S., and key emerging markets.

Syla is led by Shruti Mehrotra, a fund architect and global operator who has designed and scaled investment vehicles across complex environments—including nearly a decade advising UK PM Tony Blair. She is joined by Todd Huber, a serial entrepreneur and former DARPA program director with a track record of building and backing breakthrough technologies.

Syla was co-conceived with Gene Keselman, a Ukrainian-American and global expert on dual-use innovation based at MIT. Additional advisors include Tanya Burnell (Henry Crown & Company), Nate Mook (former advisor to Howard Buffett), and others in finance, geopolitics, and frontier tech.

In partnership with the Vatican, the Syla founding team has launched Aurora—a values-driven initiative to scale technologies with humanitarian potential emerging from the periphery.
